Hi Gary & Bev. So far this year we have really lucked out with the snow
accumulation (knock on wood).

Our next door neighbors in Buffalo are getting dumped on pretty hard as the
winds come across Lake Erie, but we have managed to avoid the large snow
accumulations so far! All the roads most of you will be driving on to the
Invasion this summer (from the west) are closed all the way up to Buffalo.
The entire west side of New York State is pretty much shut down right now.
When the winds change and come down from the north - that's when we get our
heavy snows here in Fairport. We know our time is coming - it's only
January...lol

 

I stopped out at the Invasion site the other day to get a picture of the
snow accumulation, but there wasn't enough snow to impress anyone yet. In
fact - since they sign out the site all year long (it's heated, besides
A/C), it was all plowed out and the sidewalks cleaned. Looked pretty
inviting, even at -3 degrees ;-)
