Why not go with the standard radio for looks (non working is fine) and get one of the remote operated full feature models:

That's a very good point, and I happen to have one of the early cast 
metal radio mounts that's already been "mortified." It's available if 
someone wants one that they don't have to be ashamed of ruining.
