"I sure you have check but have you verified that there are now vacuum leaks in the intake system?"

To the best of my knowledge I have the intake system sealed 100%. At one time, when I had the 40's on there, I did have a vacuum leak. Most vacuum leaks that I have ever dealt with make adjusting idle a pain in the ass, and effect the idle on cold starts. I do not have any of those ill effects that would make me thing that I have a vacuum leak now.

Maybe under load I am getting a vacuum leak somewhere? That would cause it to bog, but I would assume that it would also cause it to lean out and backfire if this was the case? I do not have any backfiring.

One more option is to get a bung drilled into my exhaust after the collector. Then I could use an LM1 I have available and see exactly what I am dealing with as far as fuel at acceleration. I just do not think it is a carb issue, but I am chasing everything at this point.
