[T3] Rear brake shoes

Mark,

Three things come to mind.

Did you squeeze the piston to fully compressed? A small bit of hydraulic
extension in the drum's piston cylinder will make the shoes juuuust a bit
too wide.

Do your drums have the common "wear shelf" on the outer lip? If so, it can
collect rust and keep the drum from sliding on. A quick sandpaper or
dremel treatment often works. If that doesn't do it, have the drums turned
just enough to clean the lip.

If you lay the shoes inside of the drum's contour, do they fit inside the
radius? If they do (and everything else is correct), then they are most
likely the correct shoes. To make them fit, you can take down a little mass
off of the adjuster side of the shoe with a file or grinder. I have only
had to do this one time, but it worked.
