Your message came thru, but, sorry, I didn't get around to responding 
to it promptly. I think OG parts in good condition are going to be 
hard to find. They typically get destroyed when people drop an engine 
without disconnecting them.  

I have some alum flex tubing that MIGHT be a decent substitute, but I
have to figure out a way to cut it to length and secure the ends. The
originals were spot welded at the ends to keep them from unwinding. 
At the moment this project is stalled, but I could cut you a length 
to try. Which side do you need, L or R? I believe the R side should 
be longer. Is the length you mentioned the compressed or the extended 
length?
