[T3] Fuel tank outlet filter?

Thanks for the tips, guys. As far as "don't seal the tank!" It is already
done. This one had an extreme case of rust. I had no idea off the draw
backs and used a por15 tank seal kit on it yesterday.

The process itself was straightforward, and I don't see it failing. Only
time will tell. That is why I am putting all the filtration systems back in
to prevent any type of clogging over time.

Here are a couple before and after pictures of the inside of the tank.

I concur. DO NOT seal VW tanks. I have restored dozens of cars and a raw
steel tank is always the best. I have paid a heavy financial price sealing
tanks. Let my lesson be your guide... :)
