[T3] Fuel tank outlet filter?

Adam ... you followed and explained the POR-15, 5-step process, perfectly.
I used the same POR-15 product on the rusty, 8 cubic foot Battery
Compartment in the motor home, several years ago.  Still looks like new.

My question would be: "Is this a fuel injected, or carburetor engine?"
If it's FI, I would be very concerned about some of those small passages,
the internal cup, etc. that may have been coated with the POR-15 and will
not allow them to function as they designed to do.

Jim A. has a very good explanation about the internals of the fuel tank.
Some day maybe he would have time to illustrate and explain the complex
internals of a Type 3 Fuel Tank

Did you actually separate the top & bottom halves of the fuel tank?
Or did you just clean,and do the 5-step prep/paint process with the POR-15?.
