Yes, he did it cold and it came right off.  I felt so silly because it
literally took me longer to explain my issue to him than it took him to
break it free with his impact driver.

It could be that I loosened it up quite a bit with weeks of heat, soaking
with PB Blaster, and pulls on a long wrench with a breaker bar, but despite
all my best efforts I couldn't get it to budge at all whereas his impact
driver removed it (threads still in tact) in under a second.
