That CAUSED the original problem with the first build, it sucked the sump
nearly dry on the highway. the second build without the tray it didnt do
that, but the oil pressure collapsed after 20mins on the highway because
i left the mount hole for the tray open in the pickup and it frothed the
oil.
this build has the windage tray back in but with cutouts for drainage.
it SHOULD work properly now, but the tuna can gives me a warm n fuzzy.

Add a windage tray from a 914-4. Be certain to use the seals with it.
That should solve any oil starvation issues.

its a really small sump, about the size of a tuna can. solves the oil
