Hi there
Be ready to test fit the engine several to many times.  Have great patience with a die grinder and several bits...and have a fire extinguisher at the ready.  The housing is a magnesium alloy.  
I've done it on a T2 which is much easier to test fit.  T3's are another story in this regard.
And, don't forget the different starter shaft bushing necessary for this changeover.
