[T3] Fuel hose replacement

Dennis,

Most fuel hose sold today "for fuel injection" is made for modern
injection systems that run with pressures 2x - 3x higher than ours.
Spending money to put this stuff on our cars is pointless. It's more
important to find something that has a small OD and will tolerate
small bend radii.

I stock very nice 5/16" hose that I've used for years with good
results. It is flexible and has the added advantage that it has a
small OD, which enables it to go thru the 3 rubber grommets on our
cars. I sell it for $3/ft or $22 ft/$60, which is enough for a
complete car. Shipping is extra.

The little short pieces of hose on the injectors should also be
replaced when the rest of the car is done. I can do this nicely for
$5 per injector.

It's likely that your hose, assuming it was decent stuff 4 years ago,
is still fine. The hose in the front, under the gas tank, will last
many times longer than that exposed to engine heat.
