[T3] Horn oddities...

'71 Sqbk.  Horn not working. 


  Solved short-lived non-working wipers by cleaning up the connections at fuse box which got dripped on by leaky windshield gasket...now sealed.
  But doing similar clean-up at fuse box didn't work for the horn. 

Cig lighter doesn't work either but haven't tried a new lighter yet.   Still, all these dashboard area things at once? Coincidence?


Horn things MUST be at least wired right because there IS a barely audible beep, just sometimes.

How to track down the problem?  Is this likely the horn itself?  If so, how to test it to be sure?  Contacts in steering wheel seem ok.

Maybe a ground attached to metal that's too rusty? 

Gotta take the whole trunk out to check wiring underneath?
