When new, those engines all came with the sealing nuts. The sealing 
nuts can be used on earlier engines, too, but some people prefer the 
higher torque that was used with the non-sealing nuts. Both nuts work 
equally well, but the sealing nuts are hard to reuse and are more 
expensive, so shops tend to not use them. Berg recommends turning 
them over and using them with the early washers and the early torque. 
If you use Loctite, this works just fine.
