[T3] WS wiper position

Hi All,
I removed the wiper assembly and serviced the pivots and replaced the plastic/nylon drive gear. Now when I turn the wipers off they go to the full up position. I've checked the wiring several times and everything seems fine. 
Do any of you smart guys have an idea of how I screwed this up?
Any input is appreciated.
