[T3] On my 73 SB auto trans /diff?

I always looked in the Bentley and it only states replacing the diff fluid on two model years think 68 &9 . On later modles it only states replacing it if it's contaminated .

 I checked  mine once in 97 or so and it was full and got a quart of GL5 . 

 Since I've had this car and drove it beginning in 91 I have never repalced the diif oil. 

 Most of what Bentley states seems to have to do with standard tranny's. 

 Since my diff is not noisy should I just change it now? 

 I feel stupid asking this I didn't have the internet back then and only in 2009 joined the Samba . All I could find is it takes about a quart to fill it , is that right? 

 I have no idea if the PO ever had it changed . The Bentley is sort of misleading . I just went by the years .
