Ok, thanks jim. That is good to know. I might have found a local 
independent guy that has a stash of VW blanks.so that will help
knowing what type it is!!! Ill check that out. I might be able to get 
some authentic VW keys made from this guy so i hope im lucky.
  We will see and take the VW for a cruise tomorrow.
