We stopped just before that pull-off for the view at the end of your video,
John, then did the few miles beyond Sedona to Oak Creek and back. Those red
rocks and Buttes are spectacular.  I would have liked to have visited the
Painted Desert and Monument Valley, but the Grand Canyon made up for that
anyway.
The Meteor Crater, big cacti in flower, and such a variety of flora at the
different altitudes are particularly memorable, as too was the ice-cream
shake at nostalgic Bing's Burger Station in Cottonwood (
http://bingsburgers.com/ )

Seeing different parts of the USA along with you guys makes it doubly worth
coming over!
