[T3] Avrage speeds

"But then, how accurate is your speedometer? :-)"
VERY TRUE ;-)
Comparing it with the GPS I am estimating around 3 to 4 MPH of error.

Keep in mind I run a Megasquirt 3X
Mostly just wanted a reference. In tuning my Squareback it would be nice to know so not to try and tune a load and RPM that is well below or above the selected gears.
I find that I might be trying to smooth out a range that may never be. 3rd gear with this motor seems to like the 45+- range but 4th seems to bog it a bit at 45+- making it run rough.
I am also keeping in mind that I have no idea what the age and milage of this motor is.

Thanks,
Daniel Du Vall

According to the 1972 owner's manual:

1st gear 0-15 mph
2nd gear 10-35 mph
3rd gear 20-55 mph
4th gear 30 mph and up.

They also note that for "a brief period only" you can accelerate up to 43 mph in second gear and 60 mph in third gear.

But then, how accurate is your speedometer? :-)
