[T3] transmission swap question

Hello all,
I have searched and I think I know the answer but frankly I want to double check.  My 69 squareback, irs tranny code DC slips out of 4th gear occasionally...I just picked up a decent AH (type 1) used tranny cheap; I am planning on swapping them until I can send my DC out for rebuild. Do I just have to swap out the nose cone and hockey stick or are there other parts to swap tranny to tranny? I am planning on doing t.o. bearing and rear seal and side inner and outer seals as well, just because they are cheap and tranny is on the bench now so might as well before I put it in service and see leaks; give myself a "known baseline" temporary transmission; obviously fresh oil after a flush and fill cycle.
