[T3] transmission swap question

Bobnotch and Jim,
Thank you for your replies and Jim I will def look for the early bearing keeper. I would rather have as much of my old tranny on the car as I can. I thought the gear ratios were the same according to info I could find; not arguing just looking for more info/ knowledge. The AH will be a temporary fix until I can get my og Dc rebuilt but I didn't want to be without the ability to drive the car in the interim and my wife cringes everytime it slips from fourth! I figure I can drive it awhile as is but, Happy wife etc and all. Anyways, thanks again for the tips. Oh and I already did my cv joints so those (as well as fasteners) are nice and clean and reinstalled properly but thanks for the heads up.
