[T3] Hard starting.

Hello all,

I have a 1966 type 3 fastback with standard carbs and fuel pump.

After the car has been sitting for over two weeks it takes some time for the motor to start! On regular use the motor fires as per normal and performs well.

I keep the motor in good order and it has good compression and good electrical components.

My concept is the fuel flows back to the tank over a longer period of time and takes a bit of turning over to get the fuel back to the carbs.

Any thoughts on this situation?

Regards,

Jessica struck the ring really hard just below the crossmember of the steering wheel and I think it didn?t have the fortitude to survive such a strong direct hit in that place. This was definitely one of those cases where the horn was necessary. We were at highway speed when a guy tried to change lanes right into us. I guess he was one of those people who don?t realize that two large objects like cars can?t occupy the same space at the same time.
