Yes, the horn definitely worked! We’ve also rigged up a dual horn system to help with volume. I actually watched the horn ring break. Jessica struck the ring really hard just below the crossmember of the steering wheel and I think it didn’t have the fortitude to survive such a strong direct hit in that place. This was definitely one of those cases where the horn was necessary. We were at highway speed when a guy tried to change lanes right into us. I guess he was one of those people who don’t realize that two large objects like cars can’t occupy the same space at the same time.
