Look on the firewall, to the front of the engine. (Front is front) 
There should be a 3-way electrical connector there, probably with one 
port open. From that 3-way connector, there should be a black wire 
running to the backup bulbs on each side.

Assuming that 3-way connector is there, you'll probably just need to 
run the power wire, via an inline fuse, to the switch on the front of 
the tranny and another wire from the other side of that switch to the 
3-way connector.

Be careful of how you run the wires alongside the tranny. It's common 
for them to be run poorly so they rub on the CV joint boot. To avoid 
this run the wires in the "valley" between the tranny and the 
starter. That will support the wires and keep them up and out of the 
way of the CV joint.

If you want, I should be able to dig up an OE BUL wiring harness, not 
in great shape, but cheap.
