15ma or so is no problem, my radio does that in the square and the
interstates last almost 10 years.

I didn't add any water to it. I had close to an 9 mA draw which was the
modern radio memory actually 1.4 mA of the draw was between the battery +
and reg + the red /white heavy gauge wire with the double red/ white that
feeds the car fuse box and all else I had unplugged to isolate the slight
draw. At that time I added a switch to disconnect the radio and recall
flipping it back on a few months ago I used fuse # 9 on my 73 SB for the
radio because I needed hot all the time for the radio memory and the radio
has a built in switch so it can be turned off without an acc ign position
and I also have a 12 volt relay to power the three added volt. temp and oil
.

I have this written down because I did it so long ago I forgot . I know the

relay does not stick or the added gauges would stay on . Key on powers the
relay coil off fuse #12 to engage it's contact. feeding power to the gauges
..

The engine cranks over fine. I'll need to check the draw a again can't
recall where is came up with the 1.4 mA draw on the regulator I have one
note book with most info and another with the notes I made checking the draw

which I can't find. I think it was less than 1.4 mA it's a Bosch electronic
unit. and calling bosch they could not tell me anything as to if normal or
not they don't know how it even works.
