well, you cant use the Tranny, and the 1.8 isnt much more HP
so its really not worth it unless you go to 2L or a built engine.
Its quite the conversion, Ive done it in my 71 and had a host of problems, 
they all get worked out but with the problems of getting quality T4 parts
these days and the cost, its a big consideration.
