[T3] Full load stop on the MPS

T4 never got our late diaphragmless systems. the 1700 and 2L got the D
and the 1800 got the L jet. I think the 75 and up 914 got L too, or
something different.

This brings up an observation though, on that website link I posted a few
days back, there were SOME other cars that got the late 3rd version of the
Djet, but not a whole lot really, WHY? now if I cant get the late system to
track properly on my 2L, that implies that its more than adjustment that
tunes a particular system to the car its on, but is it something different
in the MPS, like different armature, spring tension, aneroids or is the
difference only in the Brain? or BOth? Hmmmm...

Gotta do some more reading in the Samba Djet forums when it starts raining
again and Im stuck in the camp.

Keith

There were Type 4 D-jet systems that used the diaphram type pressure
sensors. I'm not sure, but it may have been only in the 1700 cc engines. I
have one of those pressure sensors downstairs that I've been trying to sell
on thesamba. It's for a '72 Type 4.

I should check to see what it fits, if anything, in the 914 world.
