[T3] Late model help needed

The switch seems most likely at fault. I've had club members with the same
problem Does the red GEN light come on when you turn the key to 'on', but
goes out as the engine dies? That should confirm it's an ignition switch
issue, rather than tied up with the relay for the fuel pump oir ECU. (If I'm
being stupid, piut it down to my old age!).

Guys, I have a 72 with a weird ignition issue. If I turn the key to the on
position I get nothing. if I turn it all the way to start it cranks over and
will run until I release back to the on position. Then it dies. anybody have
an idea whether or not this is the switch or the Tumblr or internal wiring
in the steering column? I would really like to drive my car again.
Thanks

Brian
