I'm very interested in your Type 4 conversion.
What size is it 1700, 1800, or 2.0L?
>From what I've been told before, you have to use a 1700 flywheel to fit into a Type 3 transaxle???

Took the afternoon off to prep the T4 motor for going back in,

been sitting for 6 years.  Got it all done, prepped the car in the few things

the T4 conversion needs and an hour and a half later the engine is IN!

Slipped right on the tranny smooth as silk first time... like its been waiting too long

to be back in service!

 

Still alot to do and connect up... we'll have to see how far I get tomorrow.

 

Im getting a motorcycle jack before I do this again though...
