[T3] Heater Box Insulation

Dear Listers,

First, the invasion pics and videos were great and thanks to all who 
shared.

My question is what is the best way to clean the insulating covers that 
I just removed off of my heater boxes. One looks Very good the other is 
a little worse for wear but all there.  Would soaking them in warm soapy 
dishsoap to remove the 50 years of grease and grime be alright?
