[T3] performance exhaust

Hi All, 

I've been reading the threads for a while but haven't stepped up to introduce myself.   I live in Portland Or. and have a '69 Notch.

Over the past few months I've been building a new engine.  2020 (92 thick wall x 76).  The problem I am running into is that I cannot find an acceptable exhaust system
for it.  I didn't realize going in that finding 1 1/2" - 1 5/8" system that will clear the mustache bar and all the cooling goods would be such a challenge.  All signs point to the 
'Sidewinder' from A1 mufflers but I've had lots of feed back that the lead time on actually getting one made is a quite a bit out there.  

Any suggestions would be helpful!  Also, if anyone happens to be sitting on a merged header for a late type 3 that they want to part with, well that would be incredibly helpful too...ha ha ha. 

I'm starting to think I might have to buy a cheap type 1 Empi system and hack it apart to adapt it for a temp. solution.
