[T3] be-brake bracket problem

Can you open out the holes in the support and lever for a bolt or piece of rod, whatever fits, or alternatively close the elongation with some weld, and re-drill?

Has anyone replaced or repaired their e-brake bracket? The hole on the left
side of the bracket has become elongated.
