an open head sensor can cause a no run condition, and hey can go
intermittent internally.

Subject: [T3] A Hint...

Happened years ago on a trip.  Car just wasn't right. Tidied up connections,
re-did points, cleaned this and that, maybe put in new points, plugs,
etc.,...and it worked better for a while.  Then back to not so great.
THEN...after the trip, I thought to just tidy up and re-tighten the Head
Sensor. Bingo.  No probs.  Magic.
Same thing happened recently for a few weeks.  Did the usual clean
connections and all that..but then remembered that Head Sensor.  Tightened
it up and...again...bingo...on the road again.
Apparently past temporary cures were thanks to just accidentally bumping
that sensor, while fussing with other things, which got it sensing
better...for a while.

So...just sayin'...be nice to your Head Sensor. Should be a Routine
Maintenance thing.  If that's famous, never heard about it before.
