Make sure the carpet isn't holding the throttle pedal. I only mention it,
as I've had that happen before.

Solved the problem. Buried within the pass through some little bug decided
to build a little nest clogging up the tube partially.

I installed a rigid tube through the metal above the removable tin some
years ago, and I failed to seal it when the engine was out, so the little
bug got in.

Now it runs!

However, even at the lowest idle I can set, it runs too fast. Idling at a
bout 1100 RPM.

If the problem is in a hose, replace the hose. If the problem is
