It seems to backfire a little from the left carb as it dies.

Points set, timing set. I can see fuel entering carb when I pump the gas in
both carbs.

Chokes both working, though the right side flutters and the left stays
steady.

I changed out the fuel filter, and didn't see anything that was blocking
the flow in the filter removed.

Stumped.
