But it staysgrounded until I switch it off. I avenTMt tried the start position on the switch to see what ITMm getting on this wire. 

That sounds like the wrong wire; it's probably the wire to the 2 rear taillights.

#19 connects to a single wire that exits a harness right near the AT dipstick.
