[T3] Sealing IAD 4 bolt rear cover ?

It  still has the gasket and on the 73 ID I used black RTV just to make
sure it had no vacuum leaks. I don't recall if I used the same thing on the
72 IAD on this car now or just tightened the 4 bolts. Do I need something
that is gas and ethanol resistant?

 Since I'm replacing the runner boots and head gaskets I just want to be
sure what ever I use lasts.
