[T3] 73 T-3 generator belt?

Yes the belt sizing by looking up what it should be always shows a gates
7395 and I don't recall ever using that size. Some sites go by engine codes
that make no sense to me. I do agree with Dan the belt will sit the same in
the crank pulley yet deeper in the generator pulley which would make the
gen pulley smaller increasing the gen speed . the Gates 7390 is 991 mm
which is called the effective length x 10mm wide so it's very close to 10mm
x 1000mm. Last thing I want is it to be to loose which the 7395 may be and
if it wears there won't be any adjustment. I guess rather than risking the
7395 I'll just go with what works the 7390 I don't know what the Napa
15390 top width was I've had in on for 16 years and think it was wider than
10mm because they have changed their belts they even say longer ones will
fit closer to 42".

I think over all these decades both pulleys wear just enough that the
required belt like the Gates 7395 is just to long. I can't make any sense
out of V belt manufacturer specs.
