I have been running Kendall 527-7138 GT-1 High Performance SAE 20W-50 Motor Oil with Liquid Titanium with no issues for a long while now.

I've been using a Lucasoil product that's a zinc additive for modern oil in flat tappet engines, like ours. IIRC, a bottle costs about $10 and half a bottle does 1 Type 3 engine oil change.
