[T3] Fuel Cap

My October '71 ('72 model) Fastback had a bayonet type fuel cap, as also did my '71 Squareback, but I had to replace that filler pipe due to rust holes in it, and used the later screw cap version. I've also had the plastic seal on that crack and fall apart, and have replaced it with a couple of O-rings, but a single thicker one, perhaps 5mm thick, would be better.
The alternative is to buy a replacement screw cap, but they cost a lot more than an O-ring, and is wasteful!

The first one is the screw type, used from early '72 to the end of production.
The 2nd one is the quarter turn type, used from '68 thru early '72.

I have O-rings that will replace the seal on the late screw type style.
