Hi Lori, good to hear you're still around. First, I'd make sure it's not the 
steering dampener that's leaking. Then, you'd have to look at the steering 
box to find out where it's leaking from. Was it a new TRW box? Just asking 
as some of them have been troublesome lately. There's a guy on the Samba 
who goes into detail on rebuilding OE boxes, and might have have a couple of 
ideas for you to check on your steering box. It might be worth checking out 
that thread, and PM ing him about yours.

Hi All,
I'm alive and well, and still living in Frisco with The Baroness ('71 SB
carbed automatic).

About 5 years ago, I had to replace the steering box.  Yesterday, I noticed
a big wet stain on the cardboard I keep under the car on the garage floor.
It was under the front, right between the wheels.  I thought it was the
brakes leaking, but I looked at them, and they're OK.  So I'm thinking it's
the steering box leaking.

What can I do?  Do I have to replace it again?
