[T3] Battery Hold Down Strap

Was the OEM Battery Hold Down Strap for our Type 3's revised to use a
"Plate", Washer and 10mm (?) Nut after 1965?
My '69 Square has a stud mounted in the floor pan, that the
plate/washer/nut fastens to.
