[T3] 2020 Invasion - POSTPONED

Yes, I'm afraid inevitable is the right word for this. In addition to
the problems of trying to maintain social distancing at an invasion,
there was also the problem of finding open motels and dining rooms on
the way there and back. And if you planned to fly, that was totally
unpredictable, as we hear reports of planes being completely full or
almost empty.
Right now, the biggest problem I'm seeing is with packages coming or
going via the USPS. I had one standard mail package that took a full
month to make it here from Texas. Now I've got two Priority Mail
packages that are more than a couple days late making their way from
here to the east coast. I'm a big fan of the USPS, but it looks like
this virus may succeed in killing it where the political forces
failed.
Out of curiosity, does anyone here know anyone who has actually had,
COVID-19, either mild or serious? No one we know personally has
caught it, but all of our friends are staying safely at home. How
many of you are working from home? Any of you still working, with
distancing, without distancing?
Stay well, everyone,
Jim

However, in light of the recent announcement from the Governor of California about the plan to re-open the state slowly over the coming months, and out of an abundance of caution and concern for the well-being of all our Invaders, Brian Fye and I have decided to postpone the Invasion for one year.
