That's reassuring. Now maybe monday I can see if I can reach the 2 nuts at
the flex plate end , one above and one below the cam. I thought just maybe
I might be able to get at them if I remove the right lower tin. I know I
can get at the other 4 . I can't remember if the push rod tubes will be in
the way. Haven't looked in decades.

 I'm just hoping as far as hope might come into play that I can avoid
dealing with a rear main seal right now. Just like I hoped that insane
ultra quiet scooter flying down the sidewalk a few days ago would miss me.
It didn't now I just have 3 lower teeth knocked out and the scooter guy
just kept on going.
