John at Aircooled.net always tries to carry good parts. He has several kits 
available, but I don't see an appropriate one marked for '69 Type 3s. The 
one for '69 Beetles should work, but you could email or call to make sure. I'd 
avoid the ones with the urethane bushings; get the bronze bushings and use 
good grease on them.

Looking back at your posts, I don't see why I thought yours was a '69, but in 
most cases, Beetles and Type 3s of the same year used the same cross 
shaft.
