YEs, this crank can be saved and wont be junked, problem right now is time
and money, its a week and $100 or more to send it to the west coast to have
THIS one done, I dont trust my shop here anymore. Jorge is sending me a
fresh cut one that I know he's checked but yea, this one will be kept
for that day that hopefully will never come, at least for me... :-)

Do you know that bent cranks can be straightened? It's commonly done after
welding on counterweights to Type 1 cranks. I know that Berg does it
routinely. Don't count that crank out; it can be saved.
BUT, glad you found the problem. Sorry it caused so much pain.
