[T3] Front shocks

Yes, that’s what I want to avoid, the stiff ride...  gotta use all that suspension height I have in the front 😊
If I remember right though, there were originally different shocks for the front between the different vehicles,
And the T3 ones has 311 part numbers,,,,  IF I remember right.

I've run other shocks on the front of my type 3s, but have found that you really want an oil shock, as gas charged will be too much. As Jim would say, these cars are light up front, and don't really need gas charged shocks (too stiff and kills the ride).

Those look like what I want, hard to believe that the Bug and the bus took the same front shocks though with One being so much heavier than the other,  Did the parts book list a T3 specific shock or just  a 111 shock?

Ive only ever had T3 shocks on the front, so don't have any experience with anything else but the LF is squeaking like a bastard now And Im getting some front end shimmy despite the wheels being balance and everything tight, Im thinking that shock is gone...

Interesting that BD lists Bilstein for our cars front and rear, but only rear Koni's.
