That would be quite interesting. 

I'm finishing up the rebuild of a SUN "MDT model" Distributor Tester
machine.  I had to get my head wrapped around how the ignition system
"really" works in order to figure out the machine.  So, I'll be interested
to see what I got Right and what points (no pun intended) I missed.

Something I've been hoping to do at the next Invasion, whenever that is, is
to prepare sketches to explain how the standard Kettering (points & coil)
ignition system works. I suspect most people simply accept it as a "black
box" and almost nothing I read on it anywhere gets it completely right.

I think/hope I can explain it well enough that anyone who wants to, can
understand it.

Any interest out there?
