Wow, what a lot of everything. Certainly has to be some scarce items among it all.

Certainly is motivation to keep my current stock at appropriate levels.

All those oem cores and heads.

A lot of someone should not save it vehicles out in that yard.

I am with you on the owner not selling I don't understand that thinking.
The stuff in the buildings and under covers hoods etc are what I see as sad mostly. The whole cars are at different levels. Some people like the rusty thing, I personally don't see them of any use or would I invest the time to restore them but some out there do. I hope when I get to a point of not being able to do stuff I am willing to clear stuff out. I already have set my limit to no more incoming till I complete the few projects I already have just sitting around.

Happy New Years to Y'all

I watched the video and checked out the location on Google Earth.
Lampasas, TX is SSW of Dallas and NW of Houston.

It's a sad but amazing video. 99% of that stuff is going to end up in the crusher, and that's probably appropriate for more than 90% of it. Hidden in that last 9% are treasures that no one managed, or cared, to find. I showed a bit of the video to my wife, hoping it would make her feel better about our basement, but that didn't help.

The part I didn't understand was that the late owner wouldn't sell anything while he was alive. Makes no sense to me. I have a few things that I'm keeping for future needs, but most of what I have is available to help keep someone elses Type 3 happily running.

If there's something you need, don't hesitate to ask. I'll turn 75 this spring, so I know my days doing this work are numbered. I just don't know how large that number is.

Anyway, Happy New Year everyone!
