It certainly fits, but the key is getting it plumbed up right and getting the
brake light and brake warning light working correctly is not as straigthforward
as many have assumed.
There are 2 different types of M10 x 1 tapped ports on these MCs: The three
that feed the brakes at the wheels have ~1 mm restrictive drillings at the
bottom, while the 2 for the brake light switches have ~3 mm holes, to make it
easier to get more of the air out of the switches. VW supplied a different
hard line for the LF wheel when they introduced the late MC. That hard line
feeds the LF wheel from the odd angled port that points down and to the
right from the front of the MC. It may seem odd, but it's the correct way to do
it.
You can also reuse the early 2-pin brake light switches and eliminate the
brake warning light. That light doesn't do much, so there's not much loss
there, but I like to stick with VW's solution and enable the light.
