[T3] 73 T-3 oil temp?

I drove it again today, yet it's only 75F . I did notice one thing. I have
the gauges mounted more to the right of the dash center in one of those VDO
rubber 3 gauge mounts. I  Made a thick plastic plate so I could place the
rubber gauge mount on an angle as much as I could . The end of the gauge
mount is near the left side of the glove box door .

 Point is if I look at the gauges dead center , for instance the temp gauge
from the driver's seat reads 180F yet if I look dead center it's between
the 120 and 180 mark. So the just below 220 on the hot day was probably
closer to 200. That does not mean it was not running hot because the oil
light was coming on and the gauges are not 100 % accurate either.

 I want to see if I can angle the panel more. It was the only spot I could
mount it , doesn't mean I can't improve it a bit. maybe.
